Welcome to the College of Medical Administration, one of the faculties of 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences. We have great hopes that the College will be a rich source of science and knowledge, and a strong support for building the modern Yemeni state.
The subject of medical administration has become a specialized field of medical and administrative sciences, taught at the university like other medical specialties. Medical administration has become a recognized profession, with its own specific identity, scientific and cognitive construction, vital social role, and the importance of rapprochement between management sciences and public health sciences.
The specialty of medical and health services management is considered extremely important in the societies of developed countries, and helps in the occupation of specialized cadres in important and qualitative medical fields for providing services to society. Besides, this specialization was created to qualify cadres distinguished by medical knowledge sufficient to manage all aspects of the health institution. Regardless of its size, it is characterized by comprehensive administrative and accounting knowledge, in order to provide the cadres enrolled in the specialty with administrative dealing skills that are compatible with the health environment in order to improve the quality of national medical and health services, and reduce the suffering of patients who are forced to search for good health service outside the borders of the country. To this end, we worked to A Master's program in health administration was opened and two batches were received in this program. We are working hard to open other programs and look forward to opening a doctoral program in the field of health administration.

Department Mission
Providing qualitative educational programs in the field of health services administration, to prepare leadership and academic cadres who are qualified intellectually and professionally, in order to meet the needs of the health sector locally and regionally, by providing a high-quality educational and research environment that catalyzes to produce creative researches, which serve the local and regional community.
Department objectives
- Preparing and implementing postgraduate programs in the field of health services administration by achieving self-sufficiency in terms of faculty members.
- Equip students with the key skills, intellectual, ethical, behaviors, technical abilities, and knowledge required to manage and operate various health facilities, in accordance with total quality and health accreditation standards.
- Activate faculty members’ role to develop and qualify the administrative and academic thinking of students to enable them to deal with the issues and problems of the various health sectors at the national, regional, and international levels.
- Develop managerial research in the health services administration and related fields to meet the needs of the Yemeni health sector (public and private) of intellectually and professionally qualified cadres that are specialized in the health services administration field.
- Contribute to improving the national performance level of staff in the health services administration field through training and continuing education.
